Jacques Voyemant

Jazz trombonist Jacques Voyemant has performed, toured and/or recorded on six continents with a long list of leading and respected artists, most notably, Grammy Award-winning Latin Jazz artist Poncho Sanchez, jazz trumpet great Tom Harrell and singers Paul Anka and Al Jarreau, as well as such jazz luminaries as Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, Rosemary Clooney, Bobby Shew, Eddie Daniels, Ernie Watts and Larry Coryell. Mr. Voyemant is a member of the Luckman Jazz Orchestra (deemed "one of the country's finest musical organizations" by Los Angeles Times jazz critic Don Heckman). He is a featured soloist with the Bruce Lofgren Jazz Orchestra, the Buddy Childers' Big Band and the Bobby Matos Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble. He has toured with the internationally acclaimed swing group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band.

Equally comfortable in the classical genre, Mr. Voyemant has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Pasadena Symphony, Los Angeles Symphonic Camerata, New West Symphony, Debut Orchestra and for several years as principal trombone and soloist with the Santa Monica Symphony. His trombone playing can be heard on numerous motion picture and television soundtracks.
